About Dr. Jenkins
Dr. Nicholas Jenkins earned his DVM from the University of Florida in 2015, followed by a theriogenology internship at the University of Tennessee in 2016. He furthered his education with a master's degree in Dairy Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2018.
Previously, Dr. Jenkins worked as a dairy nutritionist and consultant in Wisconsin. He also served as the director of Professional Services at a software company specializing in dairy herd management. With his varied expertise and perspectives, he brings valuable insights to Providence South Animal Hospital. He enjoys working with owners to find ways to keep their pets happy and healthy and is particularly passionate about working with owners and pets on quality of life and end of life issues.
Dr. Jenkins shares his life with his wife, Tori, who is also a veterinarian, and their two children, Simon and Everly. They have three beloved dogs named Leila, Olive, and Hitch.
In his leisure time, Dr. Jenkins enjoys traveling, exploring different cuisines, woodworking, and fishing. His dedication to veterinary medicine and his commitment to the human-animal bond drive him to provide exceptional care to his patients.
